Sweet Plantain and Cheese Casserole (Pastel de Plátano y Queso)

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe plantains, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated queso fresco (or feta cheese)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter, for greasing the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
