Ingredients
- 4 ripe plantains
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 pre-made pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel the plantains and slice them into 1-inch pieces.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the plantains, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt to the saucepan. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the plantains are caramelized and tender.
