Sweet Potato And Taro Dessert Soup (bubur Cha Cha)

Ingredients
- 1 sweet potato, peeled and cubed
- 1 small taro root, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup sago pearls
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 3 cups water
- 1 pandan leaf, tied into a knot
- 1/2 cup palm sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the sweet potato, taro, and sago pearls. Cook until the sweet potato and taro are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Stir in the coconut milk, pandan leaf, palm sugar, and salt. Simmer for another 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the pandan leaf and discard. Serve the bubur cha cha hot or chilled.
