Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 6 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • A pinch of saffron strands

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the rice flour and water to form a smooth dough. Shape the dough into small dumplings.
  2. In a large pot, bring the milk to a boil. Add the rice dumplings and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Once the dumplings are cooked, add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
