Sweet Woh (मिठो वोह)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice flour
  • 1 cup jaggery (or brown sugar)
  • 1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • Water as needed

Instructions

  1. In a pan, melt the ghee over medium heat.
  2. Add the rice flour and roast it in the ghee until it turns golden brown and aromatic.
  3. In a separate pan, melt the jaggery with a little water to make a syrup.
  4. Once the rice flour is roasted, slowly add the jaggery syrup and mix well to form a dough-like consistency.
  5. Add the shredded coconut, chopped nuts, and cardamom powder to the mixture and mix thoroughly.
  6. Remove the mixture from heat and allow it to cool slightly.
  7. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into small round balls or any desired shape.
  8. Your delicious मिठो वोह (Sweet Woh) is ready to be served!
