Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the onion, carrots, peas, garlic, and thyme. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the beef broth and tomato paste. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
