Ingredients
- 1 kg pork, cut into cubes
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 3-4 green chilies, sliced
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons cumin powder
- 2 teaspoons coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 4 tablespoons mustard oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the mustard oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Stir in the minced garlic, grated ginger, and green chilies. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the pork cubes to the pan and cook until they are browned on all sides.
- Reduce the heat and add the turmeric, cumin, coriander, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Pour in the plain yogurt and stir to combine with the spices and pork.
- Cover the pan and let the pork cook in its own juices for 40-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle garam masala over the pork and mix it in gently.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
