Ingredients
- 4 lemons, juiced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
- 6 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has completely dissolved. This will create a simple syrup. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- In a pitcher, muddle the fresh mint leaves to release their flavor.
- Add the lemon juice, simple syrup, and cold water to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
- Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
