Ingredients

  • 1 kg farmer's cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup semolina
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 lemon (zest and juice)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the farmer's cheese, eggs, sugar, semolina, raisins, butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and sour cream. Mix well.
  3. Grease a baking dish and sprinkle the bottom with breadcrumbs.
  4. Pour the cheese mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the syrnyk is set and golden on top.
