Ingredients
- 1 lb pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp Szechuan peppercorns
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate the pork slices with soy sauce and rice vinegar for 10 minutes.
- Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the Szechuan peppercorns and dry roast for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove and crush the peppercorns.
- Heat vegetable oil in the wok, then add garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the marinated pork and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- In a small bowl, mix chicken broth, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch. Pour the mixture into the wok and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Add the crushed Szechuan peppercorns, green onions, and red bell pepper. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
