Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh white fish fillets
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture onto both sides of the fish fillets.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the fish for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until it is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet or in the oven.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of fish onto each tortilla, then topping with shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, cilantro, and red onion.
- Serve with lime wedges for squeezing over the tacos.
