Tacos De Pescado (spicy Fish Tacos)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the stovetop grill or a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, cumin, chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the fish fillets with the spice mixture and grill for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  4. Warm the tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing the grilled fish in the warm tortillas and topping with shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, and cilantro.
  6. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
