Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the lime juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Place the fish fillets in a shallow dish and pour the lime juice mixture over them. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the fish fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet or directly over a gas flame until soft and pliable.
  5. Divide the cooked fish among the tortillas and top with shredded cabbage, diced mango, sliced red onion, cilantro, avocado, and sour cream if desired.
  6. Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side.
