Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Remove from heat.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet or in the microwave.
- Fill each tortilla with the seasoned beef mixture, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and cilantro.
- Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
