Ingredients
- 1 lb sushi-grade tuna
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup cucumber, finely diced
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic to make the marinade.
- Cut the tuna into small cubes and add it to the marinade. Gently toss to coat the tuna. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
- After marinating, add the green onions, cucumber, avocado, and sesame seeds to the tuna. Gently toss to combine.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Divide the tuna tartare into serving dishes and serve immediately.
