Ingredients
- 400g firm tofu, cut into cubes

- 1 tsp tamarind paste
- 1 tbsp palm sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Fry the tofu cubes until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- In the same pan, sauté the shallots, garlic, and red chilies until fragrant.
- Add the ground peanuts, tamarind paste, palm sugar, and water. Stir well and let it simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Season the peanut sauce with salt to taste.
- Serve the fried tofu with the spicy peanut sauce on top.
