Ingredients
- 4 pieces of firm tofu
- 250g minced beef
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground white pepper
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup tapioca flour
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the tofu by cutting a slit in the middle to create a pocket for the filling.
- In a bowl, mix the minced beef, shallot, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, and sugar until well combined.
- Stuff the tofu pockets with the beef mixture, then coat them with tapioca flour.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the stuffed tofu until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
- Serve the Tahu Isi Sapi hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
