- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 stalk lemongrass, bruised
- 2 kaffir lime leaves
- 1 cup cooking oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the minced beef with shallots, garlic, red chilies, shrimp paste, tamarind paste, sugar, salt, ground coriander, and ground turmeric.
- Cut the tofu puffs in half and carefully remove the center to create a pocket.
- Stuff the tofu puffs with the seasoned minced beef mixture.
- Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the stuffed tofu puffs until golden brown and the beef is cooked through.
- Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
