Ingredients
- 4 pieces of firm tofu
- 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch

Instructions
- Prepare the tofu by cutting each piece in half horizontally to create a pocket for the filling.
- In a bowl, mix the shrimp, egg, garlic, green onion, salt, pepper, sesame oil, and sugar until well combined.
- Stuff each tofu pocket with the shrimp mixture.
- Coat the stuffed tofu with cornstarch.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the stuffed tofu until golden brown and the shrimp is cooked through.
- Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
