Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, cut into cubes
- 2 stalks of lemongrass, white part only, finely chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 red chili, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of water
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped lemongrass, garlic, onion, and red chili. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add the tofu cubes and cook until lightly browned.
- Pour in the water, soy sauce, sugar, and salt. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
