Ingredients
- 500g thinly sliced beef
- 300g lamb, thinly sliced
- 200g shrimp, deveined and peeled
- 300g assorted mushrooms
- 300g tofu, cut into cubes
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup Chinese cabbage, chopped
- 1 cup mung bean sprouts
- 1 cup glass noodles
- 1/2 cup scallions, chopped
- 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 cup dipping sauce (soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and chili)
Instructions
- Prepare the hot pot broth by bringing the chicken or vegetable broth to a simmer in a large pot or hot pot cooker.
- Arrange the sliced beef, lamb, shrimp, mushrooms, tofu, Chinese cabbage, mung bean sprouts, and glass noodles on separate plates for easy access.
- Once the broth is simmering, place the hot pot in the center of the table and turn on the stovetop to keep the broth at a gentle simmer.
- Each diner can then cook their desired ingredients in the hot pot broth using chopsticks or a small strainer, and enjoy with the dipping sauce, scallions, and cilantro.
