Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 4 scallions, cut into 3-inch lengths
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, sesame oil, five-spice powder, garlic powder, and black pepper to make the sauce.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced flank steak and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
- Spread a thin layer of the sauce onto each flour tortilla. Place cooked beef, scallions, and julienned cucumber on top of the sauce.
- Roll up the tortillas, tucking in the sides to create a neat package.
- Return the rolled tortillas to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, until the tortillas are crispy and golden brown.
- Slice the beef rolls into halves and serve hot.
