Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh oysters, shucked
- 8 oz vermicelli noodles
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 scallions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
- Add the vermicelli noodles and cook according to package instructions until tender.
- While the noodles are cooking, heat a separate pot over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Cook until fragrant.
- Add the shucked oysters to the pot and cook for 1-2 minutes until the edges start to curl.
- Pour in the rice wine, soy sauce, sesame oil, white pepper, and sugar. Stir to combine.
- Once the noodles are cooked, transfer them to the pot with the oysters using a slotted spoon.
- Pour the chicken broth over the noodles and oysters. Add salt to taste.
- Garnish with chopped scallions and serve hot.
