Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs (700g) beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes

- 1/4 cup (60ml) soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the tamarind concentrate, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper to make the glaze.
- Thread the beef cubes onto the soaked skewers.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Brush the beef skewers with the tamarind glaze and place them in the hot pan.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, basting with the glaze until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Serve the beef skewers hot, with any remaining glaze on the side.
