Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup tamarind paste
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix the tamarind paste, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the tamarind mixture.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken wings and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the browned chicken wings to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until fully cooked.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
