Tandoori Chicken Tacos
Tandoori Chicken Tacos are a delicious fusion of Indian and Mexican flavors, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp tandoori masala
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- Salt to taste
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the yogurt, tandoori masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, paprika, garlic, ginger, and salt.
- Add the chicken strips to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated chicken strips for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- Warm the flour tortillas in a separate skillet or in the microwave.
- Assemble the tacos by placing the cooked chicken strips on the tortillas and topping them with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and cilantro.
- Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side.
