Tandoori Kebab is a popular dish in Kazakh cuisine, known for its flavorful and aromatic spices. This recipe combines tender pieces of meat with a blend of traditional Kazakh spices, creating a delicious and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 kg boneless meat, cut into cubes
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp tandoori masala
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, tandoori masala, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, and lemon juice.
- Add the meat cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the sliced onion until golden brown.
- Add the marinated meat and cook until tender and charred, about 10-15 minutes.
- Add the bell pepper chunks and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with naan or rice.
