Tandoori Paneer Tikka

Ingredients

  • 500g paneer, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons tandoori masala
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, tandoori masala, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Add paneer cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Thread marinated paneer, onion, and bell pepper onto skewers.
  4. Heat a grill pan over medium heat and lightly oil the surface.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill pan and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer is charred and the vegetables are tender.
  6. Remove from the grill and serve hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.
