Ingredients
- 1 lb pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup carrot, julienned
- 1 cup cucumber, julienned
- 4 cups cooked white rice
- 4 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp rice vinegar
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the pork slices with salt, pepper, and cornstarch until well coated.
- Dip the coated pork slices into the beaten eggs, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry the pork slices until golden and crispy. Set aside.
- In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and minced garlic. Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens. Set aside.
- In a serving bowl, place a portion of cooked white rice and arrange the julienned carrots and cucumbers on top.
- Place a portion of the crispy pork slices on the rice and drizzle with the prepared tangsuyuk sauce.
- Add a spoonful of gochujang on the side for extra spice, if desired.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
- Repeat for the remaining servings.
- Mix the bibimbap thoroughly before eating to combine all the flavors.
