Tangy Tofu Tikka

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, drained and cubed
  • 1 cup of plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  2. Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated tofu cubes and cook until they are golden brown.
  4. Add the onion and bell pepper chunks to the pan and cook until they are slightly charred.
  5. Serve the Tangy Tofu Tikka hot, garnished with lemon wedges.
