Ingredients
- 2 cups of dosa batter
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.
- Pour a ladleful of dosa batter onto the center of the pan and spread it in a circular motion to make a thick pancake.
- Sprinkle a portion of the chopped tomatoes, onions, green chilies, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and salt evenly over the uttapam.
- Drizzle a little oil around the edges of the uttapam and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom turns golden brown.
- Flip the uttapam and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes until it is cooked through.
- Remove from the pan and serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
