Tangy Tzatziki Meatballs (Ξινόλαχτα κεφτεδάκια με τζατζίκι)

Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and squeezed to remove excess moisture
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, red onion, garlic, egg, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined, then shape into meatballs.
