Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated and squeezed to remove excess moisture
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, red onion, garlic, egg, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined, then shape into meatballs.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the meatballs until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
- While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the tzatziki sauce. In a bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, dill, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic powder, and salt.
- Serve the meatballs with the tzatziki sauce on the side, and enjoy!
