Ingredients

  • 12 spring roll wrappers
  • 1 block firm tofu, drained and sliced into strips

  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the tofu, cabbage, carrot, bell pepper, and green onions.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic. Pour over the tofu and vegetable mixture and toss to coat.
  3. Sprinkle the cornstarch over the mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Place a spoonful of the filling onto a spring roll wrapper and roll it up, following the package instructions for sealing.
  5. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the spring rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
