Ingredients
- 12 spring roll wrappers
- 1 block firm tofu, drained and sliced into strips
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the tofu, cabbage, carrot, bell pepper, and green onions.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic. Pour over the tofu and vegetable mixture and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle the cornstarch over the mixture and toss to coat evenly.
- Place a spoonful of the filling onto a spring roll wrapper and roll it up, following the package instructions for sealing.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the spring rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
