Ingredients

  • 4 cups plain yogurt
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 2 cucumbers, peeled and diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
  • Salt to taste
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt and cold water until smooth.
  2. Add the diced cucumbers, minced garlic, and chopped dill to the yogurt mixture. Stir well to combine.
  3. Season the soup with salt to taste.
  4. Refrigerate the tarator for at least 1 hour before serving. You can also add ice cubes to chill it further.
  5. Before serving, give the soup a good stir and adjust the seasoning if needed.
