Tasmanian Tiger Tagliatelle
Tasmanian Tiger Tagliatelle is a delicious pasta dish inspired by the flavors of Tasmanian cuisine. This recipe combines tender Tasmanian beef, fresh Tasmanian vegetables, and a savory sauce to create a hearty and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 250g Tasmanian beef, thinly sliced
- 300g tagliatelle pasta
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 zucchini, diced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the tagliatelle according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Heat the remaining olive oil in the same skillet. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Add the red bell pepper, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and return the beef to the skillet.
- Add the cooked tagliatelle to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Divide the Tasmanian Tiger Tagliatelle among serving plates and serve hot.
