Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
- 1 onion, cut into wedges
- 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric, cumin, coriander, garam masala, chili powder, salt, cilantro, and mint. Add the chicken pieces and mix until well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the stovetop grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken, onion, and bell pepper onto skewers.
- Grill the kebabs for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and has a nice charred exterior.
- Serve the chicken kebabs hot with a side of mint chutney and naan bread.
