Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in the wok.
  4. Add the sliced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the wok.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, black pepper, and beef broth. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables.
  7. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
