Ingredients
- 500g fresh seafood (prawns, fish, squid)
- 300g egg noodles
- 1 liter seafood or chicken broth
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 thumb-sized ginger, sliced
- 2 stalks lemongrass, smashed
- 1 red chili, sliced
- 1 tomato, cut into wedges
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a pot, heat some oil and sauté the garlic, ginger, lemongrass, and chili until fragrant.
- Add the seafood and cook until they start to turn opaque.
- Pour in the broth, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
- Add the tomato and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
- Divide the noodles into serving bowls and ladle the seafood soup over the noodles.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
