Ingredients
- 250g tempeh, thinly sliced
- 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
- 3 shallots, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red chili, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Instructions
- In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Fry the tempeh slices in batches until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In a separate pan, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Sauté the shallots, garlic, and red chili until fragrant.
- Add the fried tempeh slices, salt, and sugar. Stir well to coat the tempeh with the seasoning.
- Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the tempeh is crispy and the seasoning is well distributed.
- Remove from heat and serve the Tempe Goreng Kering immediately.
