  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the sweet soy sauce, tamarind paste, sugar, and salt. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the tempeh slices until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, leave about 1 tablespoon of oil. Sauté the minced garlic and sliced red chilies until fragrant.

  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the tempeh to absorb the flavors of the sauce.
