Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped onion, minced garlic, olive oil, white vinegar, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.
- Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.
- Grill the shashlik for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the shashlik from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
