Ingredients
- 1 lb lamb, cut into small pieces
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 carrots, diced
- 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 cup rice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 8 cups water
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the lamb, onion, carrots, and potatoes to the pot.
- Simmer for 30 minutes, then add the rice, salt, and black pepper.
- Cook for an additional 30 minutes, or until the meat is tender and the rice is cooked.
- Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
