Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs (700g) beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 4 metal or soaked wooden skewers
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the chopped onion, minced garlic, olive oil, paprika, cumin, black pepper, salt, yogurt, and lemon juice to create the marinade.
- Add the beef cubes to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated beef cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Grill the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
