Ingredients
- 500g thinly sliced beef
- 300g prawns, deveined
- 200g fish fillets, sliced
- 150g fish balls
- 150g tofu, cubed
- 150g Chinese cabbage, sliced
- 100g shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 100g glass noodles
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 4 cups water
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, sliced
- 1 stalk spring onion, chopped
- 1 red chili, sliced
Instructions
- Prepare the soup base by bringing the chicken stock, water, soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, and ginger to a boil in a large pot.
- Arrange the beef, prawns, fish fillets, fish balls, tofu, Chinese cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, and glass noodles on serving plates.
- Once the soup base is boiling, place the pot in the center of the dining table and set up a portable stove.
- Each diner can then cook their desired ingredients in the simmering soup using a ladle or strainer.
- Garnish with spring onions and red chili before serving.
