Ingredients

  • 1 whole duck, chopped into pieces
  • 500g yam, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 3 slices ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups water

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, blanch the duck pieces in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove and drain.
  2. Heat some oil in the pot, then sauté the ginger and garlic until fragrant.
