Ingredients
- 500g chicken feet, cleaned and trimmed
- 3 slices ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 dried chili peppers
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- In a pot, blanch the chicken feet in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Heat some oil in a wok or pot, then add the ginger, garlic, star anise, cinnamon stick, and dried chili peppers. Stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the blanched chicken feet to the wok or pot, then pour in the soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 2 hours, or until the chicken feet are tender and the sauce has thickened.
- Serve the braised chicken feet hot, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.
