Ingredients
- 12 duck wings
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rock sugar
- 3 slices ginger
- 2 star anise
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 4 cups water
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine soy sauce, rock sugar, ginger, star anise, garlic, green onions, Shaoxing wine, five-spice powder, and water. Bring to a boil.
- Add the duck wings to the pot and reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 45-50 minutes, or until the duck wings are tender.
- Uncover the pot and continue to simmer until the sauce thickens and coats the duck wings, about 10-15 minutes.
- Transfer the braised duck wings to a serving dish and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot and enjoy!
