Ingredients
- 500g pork intestines, cleaned and cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 2 cups water
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, blanch the pork intestines in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, heat some oil and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the blanched pork intestines to the pot and stir-fry for a few minutes.
- Pour in the soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, Shaoxing wine, sugar, and five-spice powder. Mix well.
- Add water to the pot and bring the mixture to a boil. Then, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 2 hours, or until the pork intestines are tender.
- Season with salt to taste and serve hot.
