Ingredients

  • 300g Hokkien noodles
  • 100g pork belly, sliced
  • 100g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Boil the Hokkien noodles according to package instructions, then rinse with cold water and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add the pork belly and shrimp, and stir-fry until cooked. Remove from wok and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining oil in the wok. Add garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
  4. Push the garlic to one side of the wok and pour the beaten eggs onto the other side. Scramble the eggs until set, then mix with the garlic.
  5. Add the boiled Hokkien noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and white pepper to the wok. Stir-fry until the noodles are evenly coated with the sauce.
  6. Add the cooked pork belly, shrimp, and bean sprouts to the wok. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  7. Transfer the fried Hokkien noodles to a serving dish and serve hot.
