Ingredients

  • 300g fresh prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 400g fresh egg noodles
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 red chili, sliced (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the fresh egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the cooking oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
  3. Add the prawns and stir-fry until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the prawns from the wok and set aside.
  4. In the same wok, add a bit more oil if needed and sauté the sliced onion and red chili until the onion is translucent.
  5. Return the cooked prawns to the wok, then add the boiled noodles, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Stir-fry everything together until well combined.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then transfer the fried prawn noodles to a serving dish.
